Accountant

This position provides support and assistance to the Controller and is responsible for managing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank deposits, reconciliations, and other finance-related duties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting principles including the recording of general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Applies strong accounting skills, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and all bookkeeping through financial statement preparation.
  • Managing the accounts receivable process from preparing invoices to resolving account discrepancies, overseeing collections and maintaining client billing records in the ReadyPay system.
  • Participates in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.

Distribution Specialist

This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily printing process of client payrolls, client reports, packaging payrolls and researching shipping issues. The role also maintains a strong relationship with our local and national shipping vendors and assists them with reconciling daily shipping manifests.

  • Coordinate printing and shipping of client documents.
  • Verify and maintain records on incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Package payroll checks and reports according to appropriate shipping method.
  • Sort payroll packages according to delivery service and place packages in proper bins for driver pickup and subsequent delivery.
  • Coordinate processing for quarter end and year end reports, W2s and returns.
  • Performs other duties as needed and as directed by manager.
